my first post (:

My First Post! (:
hmmm been blogging too much about WSSS in my personal blog so i decided to start a new blog on simply my school experiences :D

the school math dept has decided to sign on with ace learning, and i feel that this is going to be great for the students. Besides the large amount of resources in the portal, it also emphasises on independent learning, with step by step guide and many examples to guide the students along. i really hope my students will use this portal effectively and do well for their exams.

On monday, i received a piece of news that really saddened and disappointed me:( sadly, i am still unable to go to vietnam with my 3D :( haizzzz, this is because I am just a temp teacher and there are enough teachers who can go for the overseas trip. I am really sorry! tried my best to ask for it but i guess ultimately, .........

TO my students in 3D!
How are you guys? doing well? i miss you guys alot and sadly, i didnt manage to relief any of your classes, but dont worry, i will try for at least one lesson with you all before i leave Westspring! (:

To my students in 1E/F/G
Today, i was marking the homework that i have chased after this long weekend. Despite the repeated warnings not to copy your homework, i still see alot of copying going on. This does not apply to everyone, but for those who are still copying, please know that copying is just the easy way out. without practising and recognising where your mistakes lie, you will still be doing badly for what really matters, your examinations. so what if you hand in all the homework? it only gets me off your back, but it doesnt serve its real purpose! you have learnt nothing from what you did. What i want to see from my students is the effort, like what many of my students have previously done. and effort alone, is not enough. you must learn from your mistakes. it is not use simply copying corrections when i go thru them but not understand and remember the steps.

okay, i need to go back to marking all those 7 stacks of homework! see you guys in school tmr! :D
